So now that it’s halfway through May, and we finally had to put in our window AC unit (because it’s 80 out today, and tomorrow will be the same), I told myself that once it got warm, I’d be going to white/pink wines, instead of the winter reds. I don’t know about anyone else, but reds seem to heat me up, and white wines taste better cold anyways. Another plus side, is the fact that red wines are so much higher in calories, and I honestly don’t need that in my life right now.
I told ya’ll in my last post, that I’d review my bubbly this week, that I was drinking that day. Unfortunately, I need to wait for it to chill, for my second round, and it’s almost 11 pm (23:00) where I’m at, and I want to make sure that I can post this before that clock strikes midnight. But yes, I can’t quite put this one down.
When I started exploring wines (post me turning 21), I assumed that I wouldn’t really be a sweet person when it came to wines, let alone more of the white wine liker. In the almost 2 years now of being on this journey, and over the last 9-10 months, where I took the leap out of my “norm”, I broke my assumptions and actually enjoy some sweeter wines, and I do really like white wines. Now when I lived with my dad, his rule of thumb was always “drink here at home, where I know ya’ll are safe. Invite friends over, but don’t go there.” I never took the offer on the friends part, because well, I’m that kid, but I did get to try things prior to what our laws here state a person should. For that, I thank him, and I probably turned out a lot better because of that.
Anyways, I should probably give you my two cents here on this Pink Moscato Champagne. It’s everything you didn’t know you wanted in a light, fruity champagne. It’s best served cold, obvi, since I didn’t put it in till I basically started this, but it’s okay, I’ll have it in an hour or two. It’s a very nice, crisp finish, and no bad lingering taste, because how could something so good, do that to you?!
If you like the regular Pink Moscato, but haven’t tried the champagne version, what type of wine drinker are you?🙃 If you’re not the biggest fan of champagne, try this brand, and this one at least. I never would’ve guessed I liked champagne prior to trying Barefoot’s line of champagne.
